Dear Valued Guest,

Keeping you and our teammates safe our main priority. If you need new tires or a flat fixed, but are unsure about visiting, let me put you at ease about some of the extra measures we are taking to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

First, we’ve made our key drop service available throughout the day, not just at night. With key drop, you enter the store only for check-out. Just park your vehicle, leave the keys in the drop box using the envelope provided, and follow up with the store manager to confirm your appointment. Please also leave the wheel lock key in the cup holder or other visible place.

When you do come into the store, we ask that you stand 6 ft. from the counter, marked by a line, as a precaution for our teammates and other guests. Please wait until called forward by the store manager. When you approach the counter, we have asked teammates to step back when possible. Please don’t be offended; this is for everyone’s safety. If possible, we would ask that you use your own pen to sign paperwork. Of course, we can provide a new or disinfected one if you need.

Here are additional steps we are taking for everyone’s health and safety:

• Most stores are open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday, with some stores now closed on Sunday.
• We continue our enhanced daily cleaning procedures, including disinfection of steering wheels and door handles during check-in and check-out.
• We continue to follow the CDC recommendations for social distancing, hand washing, and self-isolation for anyone who has cold or flu symptoms (and ask that you do the same).
• Our guest lounge areas have been rearranged where possible to place chairs 6 ft. apart.
• Hand sanitizer is available for your use while in store.
• We will continue to monitor events as they develop and keep you informed.

I would like to thank you for letting us be your tire store through this difficult time. We are an essential business, available to serve any of your tire needs. Don’t forget that we always fix repairable flats for free and make sure your tires are inflated to the correct pressure.

As always, we strive to deliver 5-star service—work done right, on time, every time. Please let us know how we did. The seriousness of COVID-19 is truly sobering and we join the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and many other businesses, large and small, in following the advice of the CDC to take measures to reduce the spread.

At the same time, we have a responsibility to continue providing auto and tire services to you and our other customers. As an essential business, our team will ensure you have reliable transportation throughout the national emergency. That’s a promise.

To update you on the measures we are taking in response to COVID-19:

• We temporarily reduced our hours to 8AM-5PM, Monday through Saturday; 9:30AM-4PM Sunday for stores with Sunday hours. Please call ahead to confirm with your local store.
• Offer key drop service, both during the day and after hours.
• Continue enhanced daily cleaning of our stores, including disinfection of vehicle steering wheels and door handles.
• Continue following the CDC recommendations for social distancing, hand washing, and self-quarantine for those who are ill, and ask that our guests and suppliers do the same.
• Kept in close contact with our domestic and international partners to make sure we have adequate levels of tires, parts, and supplies, and are making contingency plans for alternatives, if necessary.
• We are confident that our current inventory and strategic sourcing will meet your needs during the crisis and beyond.

We remain committed to delivering a 5-star experience, especially during this time of great need. We will continue to fix repairable flat tires for free, rotate your tires for free with oil changes, and perform a courtesy inspection and scheduled maintenance review during your service appointments.

The COVID-19 pandemic and the nation’s emergency response is unprecedented. In this time of great need, our stores remain open for you and the communities we serve.

Whether you’re a health and safety professional, an essential business employee, or just buying food, medicine, and necessary supplies, you can depend on us for reliable transportation. In fact, tires stores are part of the critical infrastructure response to COVID-19, as directed by the Department of Homeland Security.

We’re proud to do our part, by providing essential maintenance services to keep your vehicle ready for when you need it most.

Because of the threat posed by coronavirus, we have elevated our level of care. We are taking the following measures to protect you and our teammates:

• Our store hours are temporarily reduced to limit exposure and allow sufficient time each night to ensure a healthy environment for you.
• We put in place enhanced daily cleaning procedures for our guest lounges, restrooms, service and counter areas, as well as other high-traffic, high-touch surfaces.
• Our technicians disinfect steering wheels and door handles as part of the check-in and check-out process.
• We frequently wash our hands, use hand sanitizer, and provide hand sanitizer to guests.
• We practice social distancing and ask our guests to do the same.
• We ask anyone who has cold or flu-like symptoms to stay home.

We remain committed to serving your replacement tire and service needs and will continue to:

• Fix repairable flat tires for free.
• Check tread condition and tire pressure for free.
• Offer our full range of tire services, including nitrogen inflation, TPMS, wheel balancing, and wheel alignment at most locations.

Our leadership team is vigilantly monitoring the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and other health and government authorities and has a plan to respond accordingly in case the situation changes.

We know how hard the COVID-19 crisis is for you and your family. Despite the challenging situation, we will keep you safe on the road and try to make your life a little easier. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you. Stay healthy and safe.
