Load Index
The load index is how much weight the tire can support. Most vehicles come with a recommended tire load index and it is not recommended that you use a lower load index. You CAN use a higher load index. Make sure you multiply the load index by four (since you have four tires) to determine the total load capacity. Typically, load indexes range from 70 to 110 for standard passenger and light truck vehicles.
